Technical difficulties

So I have all these things I wanted to blog about but they all required a photo of some sort. One of which needed to be scanned. I think my scanner is rejecting me because every time I push the scan button it blinks at me like "haha I will not scan for you!"
Then I tried taking a picture of the photo and it didn't turn out how I wanted it too. Electronics don't like me.

Here's your sign . .

I live in Utah and it snows a lot here. You would think by now people would have some savvy when it came to snow. As I was driving home today I saw someone on their 4-wheeler plowing the sidewalks. He proceeded to do a three point turn at which his second point he backed down a hill slightly. And you guessed it!! HE GOT STUCK!!
I was sitting at a stoplight so I was able to amuse myself and watch him struggle to get out. But alas, the light turned green so I wasn't able to see the end result.

I know how Santa pays for Chirstmas!!!!!

So this weekend we were heading down to California and we stayed the night at the state line. Which is a whole different blog in its self. But in the morning when we were taking our bags out to the car I spotted someone leaving the casino. IT WAS SANTA!!!!! He had a beard, red shirt and suspenders. I think the reindeer were invisible because I couldn't find his sleigh. He must either be very good at gambling to pay for everything or very bad and that's why he has elf slaves making all the toys.

Santa

Awww the Santa pictures. It's nice to not have grumpy children even though they make the best pictures. This is the 7th year with this same Santa and I think I'm going to stop going there.
Normally when we go to visit Santa there is a line with some cheesy decorations and you can bring your own camera if you want along with their service of taking pictures. This year it was way to high tech and over stimulating. They had the Christmas music playing and all these different buttons and movies and crazy lights. It was very over stimulating. And you HAD to buy one of their picture packages if you wanted to use your camera. We stood in line for an hour but Shali was so excited to see him that I didn't want to tell her we are going somewhere else. So if they use this same company again representing Santa we will be going somewhere else. Sorry for my rant but aren't the girls CUTE!

Family Pictures

It seems like every time I try to take a family picture, there is at least one very unhappy child. Don't believe me? Look at the photos. . .

But out of some miracle we pulled one off tonight!!

This weekend I really want to take one at the beach. Who knows what will happen . . .

snack time

So, I'm getting the munchies and I decide to go upstairs and see what there is to eat. I look in the pantry and nothing calls to me so I head over to the fridge. I open it and find these ugly fish heads staring at me! Who can eat when a fish is staring at you!

Its not easy picking green.

Some of you may know that we are in the process of building out a basement. We are now into the fifth month of working on this and we are finally painting. Which means I have to pick out colors!!
My old house was blue with a blue kitchen and a tan room here and there. Travis rushed me to pick out all the colors for the whole house in one night and I wasn't happy with it but I didn't want to fork out the money to repaint it. So yesterday, Travis tried to force that upon me again and pick out everything all out once. OH! but I have learned this time.
Tara and I went to Lowe's a few days earlier and picked out "Hazy Jade" for the kitchen/dining area. I left the sample at her house and of course it was lost. So I met Travis at the paint store thinking it would be no problem to find a similar color because I already had one picked out.
Low and behold I walk to the paint samples and there are 50 different kinds of GREEN!!

After awhile they all started looking the same color of green. My brain turned to mush and I went eeny meany miney mo. Use that green. And after all of that Travis tried to get me to pick the color for our bedroom.

I iz smert

To all my many, many, many, many blog followers, you have probably noticed my lack of blogging. Well, I forgot how to find my blog. I told Emily and she linked it for me. So look for great things to come!

Facepalm: because expressing how dumb that was in words just doesn't work.

Its a good thing we have necks

Necks are a wonderful part of our body. They help us move our head around so we can see this wonderful world. Necks also keep our head from falling off.

The reason I bring up this fascinating body part is my baby's new found use for it. She is 7 months old and has discovered how to shake her head. It started with her daddy teaching her. When we put her in her car seat she shakes her head. When we put her in bed she shakes her head.
Yesterday she shook her head so much I thought she was going to get shaken baby syndrom!

Its a good thing her neck is there to hold her head on and bring me this joy and definate laughter of watching my baby shake her head and tell me I'm not her mommy.
